KnowQo Is Now Stampwell
This company grows through word-of-mouth. And when the name is hard to say, that makes everyone's life harder. So we changed the name.
KnowQo is now Stampwell. Same company, same team, same app, same pricing, same login. Nobody acquired us, and nothing shut down. We just wanted a name that was easier to say.
Why we changed the name
KnowQo was hard to say. People weren't sure how to pronounce it, and they weren't sure how to spell it.
Here's why that mattered so much to us. We spend almost nothing on marketing — on purpose. This company grows one way: someone uses it, likes it, and tells a colleague. We're proud of that, and to everyone who has passed our name along — thank you. But word-of-mouth has one requirement: you have to be able to say the name easily to a friend. KnowQo made that hard. Stampwell makes it easy.
Everything you use is still here
A new name can make people nervous, so let's walk through the product piece by piece. Every one of these worked the same the day before the rename and the day after.
Your certificates still work — all of them. They live on the same ledger they were registered to, and every verification link and printed QR code still resolves, including on certificates issued under the KnowQo name.
Anyone can still look up a certificate in the certificate directory and confirm it's real, the same way they always could.
The policy tools are the same tools. Everything you've created is still in your account, and everything still generates the way it did.
Compliance tracking didn't move. Your organization's record — who's trained, what's expiring, what's on file — is exactly where you left it.
The training is the same training. Nothing was retired, and nothing needs retaking.
Team management is all still here: adding people, assigning training, watching it complete.
If you earned a certificate on your own, it's still yours — and it still upgrades the same way when an organization picks it up.
Pricing didn't change. The free plan is still free, and paid plans still cost what they cost.
Questions about the name change
What happened to KnowQo?
It changed its name. KnowQo is now called Stampwell — same company, same team, same product. Nobody acquired us and nothing shut down.
Is Stampwell the same company as KnowQo?
Yes. Same team, same software, same accounts, same legal entity. Only the name changed.
Is my KnowQo certificate still valid?
Yes. Every certificate issued under the KnowQo name is still valid and still verifiable. The ledger it's registered on didn't change.
Do my old KnowQo links and QR codes still work?
Yes. Old links and printed QR codes redirect permanently to the same pages at their new address. Nothing needs reprinting.
Do I need a new account or a new login?
No. Your account, your login, and everything inside it are exactly the same.
Why did KnowQo change its name?
Mostly because KnowQo was hard to say and hard to spell. We grow by word-of-mouth, and a name people can't pronounce is a name they can't pass along. Stampwell is easy to say and easy to spell.
What happened to KnowQo Health?
It's still here — it's now called Stampwell Open University. Our open health training university for people looking for jobs didn't change at all beyond the name. If you liked it, it's all still there.
